Dear Researcher and Educator Colleagues,

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Debrecen is organizing a forum entitled "XIII. Interdisciplinarity in Regional Studies Economy – Society – Management" International Scientific Conference on 11-12 June 2026. The event is co-organized by the MTA IX. Department of Economic Sciences Management and Organization Science Subcommittee, the MTA Debrecen Academic Committee, the Hajdú-Bihar County Archives of the National Archives of Hungary, the Association for the Development of the Northern Great Plain, and the Balassi Ferenc Cultural and Community-Building Association. This forum provides an opportunity for interested researchers to present the results of their regional studies through scientific presentations. The planned presentations aim to engage a broad scientific audience, primarily covering topics from the humanities, social sciences, economics, and legal sciences. However, as the conference is interdisciplinary, contributions from other scientific fields are also welcome.

Based on the recommendations of the session chairs, presenters of 15-minute talks will have the opportunity to publish articles derived from their presentations. Selected papers may be published in the online journals Region Research Review (ISSN 2559-9941) or Economica (ISSN 2560-2322). The abstract submitted via the registration form will be included in the Conference Résumé, which contains the event program.

The conference is planned to be held in person. The language of the presentations is either Hungarian or English. We will inform everyone of any possible changes prior to the conference.
