Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 7th European Colloquium on Inorganic Reaction Mechanisms (ECIRM 2026), which will be held in Debrecen, Hungary, from September 6 to 9, 2026.
Founded in Debrecen in 2013, the ECIRM conference series has been organized biennially across Europe, providing a vibrant platform for researchers to share their insights into inorganic reaction mechanisms and related areas of chemistry.
ECIRM 2026 will continue this tradition by bringing together scientists from around the world to discuss the latest developments in inorganic chemistry — including organometallic chemistry, equilibrium and structural dynamics, catalysis, and redox processes both in homogeneous and heterogeneous phases, as well as the analytical tools and techniques used to study them. Special attention will be devoted to nonconventional methods that reveal new mechanistic insights into reactive systems.
As always, ECIRM aims to offer a stimulating and collegial environment for scientific exchange, fostering collaboration and innovation across disciplines. The program will feature plenary and invited lectures, complemented by oral and poster presentations, covering all aspects of reaction mechanisms.
