Gerontological Days 2026

The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Debrecen, and coorganisers: the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Debrecen Academic Committee Regional Committee Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Committee Interdisciplinary Working Committee on Lifestyle and Health Research; the  Hungarian Academy of Sciences Debrecen Academic Committee Regional Committee Medical Committee Geriatric and Social Gerontology Working Committee,   and The Faculty for Social Wellbeing at the University of Malta 
will organize an International Scientific Conference on 14-15-16. October 2026.

GERONTOLOGICAL DAYS 2026

The central topic of the Conference: Health condition, and physical activity

We welcome your participation in the presentations and look forward to receiving papers and posters (including virtual ones) that have not been published before but are related to the gerontology.

The Conference will provide an excellent opportunity for personal exchanges, for academics and researchers, practitioners to present their results and discuss them.

Deadline for application (sending abstracts):

Feedback on the acceptance of abstracts: 30. August  2026 at the latest (continuous depending on the number of submissions).  A regisztrációt és absztraktok beküldését a Konferencia honlapján elérhető felületeken tehetik meg. Registration and submission of abstracts can be done through the interfaces available on the Conference website. Until the opening of these interfaces, pre-registration and abstract submission will be possible by e-mail. E-mail address: bene.agnes@etk.unideb.hu.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Special Issue of the Hungarian Gerontology scientific journal.
The best papers related to the section presentations will be published in the annual regular issue of the scientific journal "Hungarian Gerontology" of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen. ojs.lib.unideb.hu/gerontologia.
